Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Welcome to the SendModels FAQ! We know that taking the leap toward a global career—whether you're a Model, Actor, Musician, or Content Creator—comes with big questions. We've compiled the most common inquiries about our submission process, fees, agency network, and results right here. If your question isn't answered below, please visit our Contact Us page. Let's get your talent discovered!

1. What exactly is the SendModels service?

SendModels is the world's first smart automation platform designed to simplify global talent submission. We transform your raw portfolio and information into a single, perfectly formatted application and electronically deliver it directly to the top 20 most relevant agencies and managers in your chosen target market. We eliminate the frustrating, time-consuming manual application process for you.

2. How is SendModels different from just emailing agencies myself?

The difference lies in efficiency and access. When you email an agency, your submission often lands in a general inbox, risking being missed or incorrectly formatted. SendModels ensures your profile, measured against the industry's highest standards, is digitally delivered directly to the specific acquisition desks of the Top 20 firms, guaranteeing professional, direct visibility.

3. How many agencies will my portfolio be sent to?

We guarantee your complete portfolio will be submitted to up to 20 leading, highly-reputable agencies, managers, or casting directors that specialize in your specific talent category (e.g., modeling, acting, music) within the country or region you select during the application process.

4. Which countries and markets do you cover?

Our network is global. We cover major talent markets across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. During your submission, you will be able to select from key markets where our Top 20 agency network is strongest, giving you precise control over your global debut.

5. Why do you charge a $10 submission fee?

The $10 fee is a necessary investment that powers our pioneering platform. It covers the operational costs of our smart automation system, the maintenance of our carefully curated global agency database, and secure, direct electronic delivery. This small charge ensures we can continue to expand our network (aiming for 100+ agencies per country) and provide you with a high-quality, efficient service that saves you countless hours.

6. Are there any refunds if I don't get a contract?

No. As stated in our Terms of Service, all fees are strictly non-refundable. The $10 fee covers the immediate execution and delivery of the submission service to 20 top firms, which occurs the moment your payment is processed. We guarantee submission, but we do not guarantee a contract, as that decision rests entirely with the receiving agency.

7. Do you guarantee that an agency will sign or contact me?

No, we do not guarantee any contract, interview, or response. We guarantee maximum exposure to the right people. The decision by an agency to pursue a relationship with you is based solely on their internal needs, artistic judgment, and your individual profile.

8. What happens after I submit my application?

Immediately upon successful payment, our system processes and formats your application. Within 24 hours, your complete profile is dispatched directly to the 20 agencies/managers in your chosen market. You will receive a confirmation of successful submission.

9. How will I know if an agency is interested?

If an agency or manager is interested in your talent, they will contact you directly using the email address or phone number you provided in your application. We step aside once the submission is complete, allowing direct communication between you and the potential representation.

10. Can I submit photos taken with my phone?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, many agencies prefer natural digital photos, often called "digitals" or "polaroids." These should be recent, taken in good natural light, unedited, and show your natural look. Refer to our photo guidelines in the application form for specific requirements (headshots, profile, full body).

11. Can I submit my professional portfolio photos?

Yes, professional photos are highly recommended, especially for your main portfolio shots. However, you must ensure you also provide the required unedited digital/natural shots so agencies can accurately assess your current look.

12. Are video submissions mandatory for all talents?

We strongly recommend video submissions (slates, walks, or performance clips) for all talents, as they are crucial for evaluating your movement, energy, and personality. While they are mandatory for some categories (like acting and modeling), they significantly boost the chances of attention across all creative fields.

13. Is there an age limit for submission?

We accept submissions from individuals of all ages. However, if you are under 18, we require all submission information and any subsequent communication with agencies to be managed and approved by a legal parent or guardian.

14. What if I am signed with a local agency already?

If you are already represented locally, you must first check the terms of your existing contract to ensure you are legally permitted to seek international representation in the markets you are applying to. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with your current agreements.

15. Do I need professional measurements to apply?

Yes, accurate and current body measurements (height, bust/chest, waist, hips, shoe size) are essential, particularly for models. Agencies rely on these metrics for casting. Please measure accurately before submitting.

16. What kind of talents does SendModels accept?

We are a comprehensive talent platform. We actively send profiles for Models, Actors, Dancers, Musicians, DJs, Voice Over Artists, and Professional Content Creators/Influencers to highly relevant agencies across their respective industries.

17. How long will my profile stay active in the system?

Your profile submission is a one-time service (immediate delivery to 20 firms). We retain your data only as long as necessary to confirm successful delivery and process any related inquiries, after which it is handled according to our Privacy Policy. If you wish to resubmit later or target a new market, a new $10 fee will apply.

18. Can I edit my application after I submit it?

No. Once payment is confirmed, the submission process to the 20 agencies is automated and begins immediately. We cannot edit or recall applications once they are in the delivery queue. Please review all details carefully before final confirmation.

19. Is my personal data safe and secure?

Absolutely. We adhere to strict data security protocols. Your sensitive payment details are handled by secure, third-party processors (like Stripe/PayPal) and are not stored on our servers. Your portfolio data is protected according to our comprehensive Privacy Policy.

20. How does the international transfer of my data work?

Since our service involves sending your portfolio to agencies worldwide (e.g., from the US to Europe or Asia), you expressly consent to the necessary international transfer of your data across borders. This transfer is done solely to facilitate the core submission service.

21. What happens if I make a mistake on my application?

Since submissions are final and non-refundable (Section 2.3 of ToS), you will need to complete a new application and pay the $10 fee to submit the corrected information to the 20 agencies in that market. This is why careful review is strongly emphasized.

22. What formats should my photos and videos be in?

For photos, please use standard formats like JPG or PNG. For videos, MP4 or MOV are preferred. We have specific file size limitations listed within the application form to ensure efficient delivery to all agencies.

23. Do you submit to smaller, boutique agencies?

Our focus is on delivering profiles to the Top 20 most established, reputable, and commercially active firms in each region. While we include top boutique agencies, our priority is firms that offer the highest opportunity for global career growth.

24. Can I target more than one country at a time?

Yes. To target multiple markets (e.g., Paris and New York), you must complete a separate application and pay the $10 fee for each target market. This ensures dedicated submission to the 20 top firms in each selected region.

25. Who owns the rights to my photos and videos after submission?

You retain full ownership and copyright of all your submitted photos and videos. By submitting, you only grant SendModels the necessary license to transmit that content to the agencies for representation consideration.

26. Are there any hidden fees besides the $10?

No. The $10 fee is a one-time, flat charge per market submission. There are no hidden fees, recurring costs, or percentage cuts taken by SendModels if you secure a contract.

27. What if my talent category is not explicitly listed (e.g., Illustrator)?

If your specific creative category is not listed, we recommend selecting the closest related category (e.g., a commercial Illustrator might select 'Content Creator') and clearly detailing your talent in the provided text fields. We prioritize submission to relevant talent management firms.

28. What should I wear for my digital photos and videos?

For Digitals, agencies prefer simple, form-fitting attire (e.g., basic jeans, solid colored t-shirts/swimwear) to clearly assess your physique and shape. Avoid busy patterns, heavy jewelry, and excessive makeup.

29. Can I submit if I live in a remote area?

Absolutely. One of the core missions of SendModels is to eliminate geographic barriers. As long as you can provide accurate information and high-quality digital assets, you can apply to any market we cover.

30. How does the $10 fee help SendModels expand?

The $10 fee is crucial to our pioneering vision of reaching 100+ agencies per country. It directly funds the technological development necessary to build those complex agency integrations, expand our global database (including the new Asia-Pacific hub in the Philippines), and maintain the high security standards required for global data transfer.
