Hello, I'm Liam.

Back in Australia, my world was defined by bright lights, beach shoots in Sydney, and the organized chaos of the Melbourne fashion scene. I had a comfortable male model career, but the posing stopped feeling like enough. My hunger was for something deeper—I wanted to be an actor.

That ambition led me straight out of the comfort zone and into the heart of Southeast Asia: Indonesia.

The Call of the Archipelago

People ask me why I didn't choose Hollywood. The answer is simple: I saw massive, untapped potential here. Indonesia has a huge population with a massive appetite for local drama—known broadly as Teleserye and FTV (Film Televisi). The Jakarta production hub needs unique faces like mine for specific international roles, offering a rapid path to an international career.

From Perfect Pose to Emotional Chaos

The shift from the structured, punctual nature of an Australian set to the passionate, high-volume environment of a Jakarta production house has been wild. As a model, my job was aesthetic perfection. As an actor, my job is emotional chaos.

  • The Hustle: I’m now dealing with intense tropical heat and the necessity of learning Bahasa Indonesia. Every casting room is a test of patience, and every rejection forces me to improve my craft. My portfolio now focuses heavily on dramatic headshots, not just fashion editorials.

I realized that my biggest asset is my adaptability. I am building relationships with local talent agencies who are guiding me through the intricacies of the Indonesian film industry. This is more than just a job; it’s an adventure. I left the comfort of Australia to find my true professional family here in Indonesia.
